Currently I am in Florida, visiting my brother, his wife and their 2-year-old baby boy in Orlando. I am planning to also visit my father in Jacksonville later this week. Its been a blast and surprisingly, we kept finding vintage goodies and inspirations. Here are a few of the them.

I first saw these adorable Dolce Vita oxfords on my sister-in-law and fell in love. Being the sweetheart that she is, she took us all to Ross where me, my little sister and my mom all found a pair in our size. Score!
My brother loves planes. So while we were waiting at a Cracker Barrel for a table, we browsed around the shop and he found an old school wood airplane toy. One of the wings was broken, but we found some crazy glue and it flew like a champ. My mom found a vintage package of her favorite candy, Mike and Ike. The orignial packaging is so much cooler.
My sister-in-law has been trying to convince my brother to buy a microwave to more easily foods. My brother, being all Emeril Lagasse (big bro is a chef, a pretty awesome one) on us and complained that microwaves destroy the taste of food. I'm inclined to agree, but when you have a hungry toddler running around, pallets and seasonings do not matter as much.
Thankfully, on the way home I spotted a little garage sale in a neighbors driveway and sitting as though it were waiting for her was a used but in very good condition microwave. We convinced them to get it and they also got a couple of very Florida wicker patio chairs, all for a great price.
