VOP GOES PLACES: Philly Indie Craft Market

This past Saturday Philly Indie Craft Market at 2424 Studios in Fishtown."Craft Party" may be a more appropriate term because, considering the blistering cold and heavy snowy rain that day, there was a hefty turnout of people ready to have fun. Over thrity vendors were selling handmade, one of kind crafts, art and clothes. This event was a big effort to get as many donations as possible to help the 941 Theater (where the event is usually held) reopen.

The 941 Theater had its very own table with bake sale treats and raffle tickets.

A $5 donation got you a picture with good old St. Nick himself.

Pasbt Blue Ribbon sponsored the drinks, which most definitely did not go to waste.

Some well known bands from the area came out and provided amazing live music. One of my favorite groups of the day was Toy Soliders (pictured below).
